I got around to reading about this (from some Florida news site) and I'd believe it. It'd still be easy to brush the whole story aside, such as "you'd believe a terrorist?" sort of rhetoric... Even still, the dude accusing him was NEVER charged with a crime. They held him at Guantanamo for 14 or so years... Ron DeSPICABLE might have a better ring to it than DeSanctimonious. 🙄 (at least for a hit-piece of this caliber)

Although the media would scream bloody murder at this action, I believe it'd be a based power move on Trump's part. We all knew, since between J6 and January 20th, that J6 attendees would be prosecuted under the full weight of the law. Too many times do we take into consideration the response by mainstream media; sometimes it's best to be completely inconsiderate towards any of their retorts.
There were some Jan 6 protestors that were unruly. This can’t be disputed. I will say, however, I believe it was a setup by the FBI. Ron DeSantis was correct, some should have been arrested based up the videos but not for an insurrection. They should have been given their day in court in a timely fashion, but again they were not. Laura Loomer is breaking a cardinal rule in politics to not turn against a potential supporter. I supported her in the past, but she will never win any election in Florida.
This article appears to be verified. It shows an entirely different picture of Ron DeSantis than MOST of us have previously seen, and it is not a pretty picture, nor an America First one. I have been a big supporter of DeSantis until I read this article and researched to see if it was true. With this background, he might should forgo ever running for president. He does not appear to be who we thought he was.
It gets a lot worse. He’s definitely not who you have been led to think he is. My friend who lives in Ft. Myers has told me things about him that Trump is now giving hints to. Also, he flat out lied about the number of people who died in the latest hurricane (I have no idea why).

Very enlightening article. I've been very critical of Donald Trump's silence on this issue for many months after the "insurrection." If he's giving them some of the millions he's raised at his rallies, then that's good. Many of them can't afford attorneys (or at least competent ones), so I'm not sure how much that financial support could be. But I was unaware of the extent of DeSantis's background. It's very troubling that the new potential leader of the opposition is tied to torture and made those ridiculous comments about January 6.
