Most politicians wait for after they step down for a sweetheart book deal. Ron DeSantis, because of the $million dollar book deal with Murdoch owned property WHILE IN OFFICE AND RUNNING FOR PRESIDENT has some splainin' to do !
It seems to me that Looper has a personal dislike for DeSantis. Both book companies sell the books banned by Florida, do they not? Murdock just lined his campaign fund with more money since they are all in for DsSantis.
If DeSantis thinks we're going to forget about this by 2028, or his involvement as a Prosecutor who gave convicted child porn pedophiles plea-bargained short term, he'd better forget all aspirations for the White House.

Nothing written here undercuts what DeSantis did in fighting inappropriate materials in schools. The fact that he is still fighting “woke” ideology after getting a book deal would seem to illustrate that the money has not had any corrupting impact on him. His book was a bestseller so it was a good investment for the publisher, not a payoff to a politician. Everyone that doesn’t lick Trump’s boots is not evil or corrupt. Really impressive “investigative” reporting. Just another hit piece in service of your god-king.
When we were home schooling our kids, David Barton of WALLBUILDERS introduced us to some real history we never got in public schools. David Barton wrote THE JEFFERSON LIES, which was so disliked that the first publisher was pressured into taking it down. (So there may have been some difficulty such as that with Gov DeSantis' book.) Also, speaking of Black History Month, David Barton has many videos on real heros among black Americans. And talk about censored, I got in trouble with some Christians who made my point when I mentioned why TO KILL A MOCKINGBIRD, UNCLE TOM'S CABIN, and TOM SAWYER were really banned. So many years ago a woman I met a Publix invited us to a home school converence that was in a tiny house that served as a church in Tarpon Springs, Florida. We sat on he floor in a little room and watched a David Barton video on a little TV also on the floor. I went home and bought all the videos he had for sale to use for our home schooling. His offerings have expanded greatly since that time; must have been in the early 1990s. As home schoolers we were freaks, by the way.
