Over the past week, America’s attention has turned to California, where tragedy has engulfed Los Angeles, one of the nation’s largest cities. Several fires, likely sparked by downed power lines, and possibly even arson, erupted in the suburbs of Los Angeles. Fanned by powerful Santa Ana winds, low humidity, and bone-dry ground conditions, these fires quickly escalated into raging infernos. Entire communities, such as the Palisades, were consumed by flames on Tuesday night, leaving five dead and over 1,000 structures reduced to ash.
Natural disasters are often an unavoidable part of life—there is little anyone can do to prevent a hurricane or a tornado. However, wildfires stand apart as one of the few disasters we can actively mitigate. Through controlled burns and strategic fuel reduction, forestry workers can minimize the threat of wildfires. And, of course, firefighters can combat flames with water and protective measures to save lives and property. Yet, this week, we’ve seen how California has failed on both fronts.
Reports from the field tell of dry or inoperable fire hydrants, leaving firefighters with limited tools to defend against the advancing flames. Meanwhile, California’s forestry management practices have been severely neglected. The state’s failure to properly maintain its forests has turned them into tinderboxes, resulting in catastrophic wildfires year after year. President Trump raised this issue back in 2019, noting on social media that Governor Newsom’s lack of proactive forest management was setting the stage for disaster.
What’s happening in California isn’t just a natural calamity; it’s a case study in governmental failure. Once again, Americans find their lives shattered by the incompetence of their elected leaders—many of whom are Democrats. We saw this just months ago when Hurricane Helene devastated parts of southern Appalachia, only to see those communities abandoned by the federal government. Hard working Americans, most of whom live in extreme poverty in Appalachia, were told they would not be receiving any assistance for FEMA because the money was instead spent on illegal aliens. Now, Democrats in California like Governor Gavin Newsom are making promises of FEMA assistance, but if there is no money for the people victims of Hurricane Helene in North Carolina, how will there be FEMA money for the people displaced by fires in California? California’s situation is distinct, an emblem of systemic mismanagement, chronic decline, and policies that prioritize ideology over practicality.
Forty years ago, California was a shining example of the American dream. It was a state of immense promise—a land of breathtaking natural beauty and unparalleled opportunity. California’s landscapes ranged from picturesque beaches to sprawling deserts and majestic, snow-capped peaks. Its cities were vibrant hubs of innovation and culture. Los Angeles stood as a global cultural icon with Hollywood, while San Francisco emerged as the tech capital of the world. Economically and socially, California was thriving. At the time, it was a reliably Republican state, voting red in every presidential election until 1992.
But today, the Golden State has lost its luster. What was once a beacon of American prosperity has become a cautionary tale. California is no longer the state people dream of moving to—it’s the state they’re fleeing from. Homeless encampments, open drug use, and unchecked crime have replaced the clean, thriving neighborhoods of yesteryear. San Francisco’s streets, once charming and full of life, are now marred by needles and human waste. Just steps from the Hollywood Walk of Fame, trash and tent cities line the sidewalks.
How did it come to this? How did a state once synonymous with the American dream descend into what many now see as a nightmare? The answer lies in failed leadership. Decades of Democratic policies have fostered mismanagement, opened borders, and a refusal to enforce basic standards of law and order. These policies have systematically eroded California’s infrastructure, economy, and sense of community.
The recent fires offer a tragic snapshot of this decline. While Los Angeles burned, Democrat Mayor Karen Bass—an elected leader entrusted with the welfare of millions—wasn’t even in the country. Instead, she was thousands of miles away in Ghana, Africa attending the inauguration of the nation’s president as part of a U.S. delegation. Why a mayor was representing the United States at a foreign event in Africa remains unclear. What is clear, however, is her inaction. The National Weather Service issued an "Extreme" fire weather watch two days before her departure. Whether she ignored the warnings or simply didn’t care, her absence speaks volumes about her priorities.
Governor Newsom, meanwhile, has focused on damage control—not for the fires but for his public image. His failure to invest in effective forestry management and disaster preparedness has made these tragedies all the more devastating. Californians who have lost their homes, their communities, and even loved ones are not blaming climate change—they are blaming Newsom, Bass, and the rest of the state’s ineffective Democrat leadership that did nothing as fire hydrants were abandoned for months without water.
California’s plight should serve as a wake-up call to the rest of the nation. This is not an isolated incident; it’s a harbinger of what’s to come if America continues on its current path. Today, it’s California’s hydrants that run dry. Tomorrow, it could be yours. While it’s easy to dismiss California as a “liberal hellscape,” the reality is that its decline is a warning to all of us. States like New York, Illinois, and Maryland are already following the same trajectory.
We must recognize these events for what they are: a dire warning. Americans must demand better from their leaders. The stakes could not be higher—not just for California, but for the future of the nation. Stop electing terrible people. Stop accepting less. Demand more from your government. Demand better for yourself, and demand more for the American people.
California’s Firestorm
My condolences and heart-felt prayers go out to the victims of this catastrophic tragedy. I cannot begin to know how much your heart and soul ache over your losses, especially those who lost loved ones, may their souls be at peace with the Lord Jesus Christ. I pray that the winds diminish, and that GOD Almighty hears and responds to the thousands of prayers asking for His intervention. My prayer is that His wrath is now quieted for the sake of the innocent.
CA firestorm: A formula whose elements were authored by humanity and biblical prophecy.
Los Angeles County appointed a lesbian woman as fire chief, Kristin M. Crowley. Crowley declared the crisis the department faced was a lack of women firefighters. (?)
NOTE: GOD’s timing is not our timing, GOD’s timing is not slow. GOD’s timing is His timing and when GOD decides to deliver His “divine justice” it is not random, without cause, or unjust as it is righteous condemnation. The “fire and brimstone” currently devastating Sothern California, specifically Los Angeles County, is a direct result of the “perfect storm!” The contributing elements were authored by man’s decisions, or lack thereof, and biblical prophecy. GOD does not condone what California LA Society continues to idolize as their GODs! GOD’s Wrath is the result!
Most recently: Los Angeles Democrat Mayor Karen Bass slashed the city’s fire department’s budget by nearly $20 million. The cost to restore the damage will be in the billions, not millions!
2020 to 2024: Governor Newson appeased environmental extremists by refusing to sign a water restoration declaration that would have millions of gallons of water from rain and snow to fill reservoirs because Newsom wanted to protect a fish named the smelt. RESULT: A lack of reservoirs and fire hydrants. Los Angeles is out of water and residents are fleeing for their lives as the fire department lacks the resources to contain these wildfires. G-Newsom cut millions from the CA State (fire response budget), why? More money for (…..) I’ll let you fill in the blank.
The California legislature must form a “Special Committee” to review everything applicable to this catastrophic incident, before and after. "Blue Politics" are not aimed at the support of their constituents!
NOTE: Newsom stated, the w-declaration never existed, what Trump stated is a “MYTH,” yet the “FACTS” say otherwise as is the case in nearly every instance the Far-Left Liberal Demo Donkeys present their “LIES” as “truth.” Newsom went as far as to blame the CA fires on Trump! How can this individual look at himself in a mirror, how?
From the (human perspective): those governing Los Angeles County and the State of California could have mitigated the current level of catastrophic tragedy and destruction. Those having the power to do so, did not! The “TRUTH” will support that reality.
From (GOD’s perspective): I cannot pretend to know; however, it appears GOD’s patience has/had run out. California’s LGBTQ-R lifestyle, support, and push of WOKEISM, and its’ false, manmade idols are an abomination to GOD. California’s societal priorities are askew! If the CA government and residents/citizens of Southern California do not reevaluate those priorities, to the extent of an awakening to the need for a political and religious reformation, they may be experiencing (?).
May GOD have mercy on you all. May GOD restore his Grace upon you all. America, In GOD We Trust. Please, fervently, and truthfully ask yourselves what you can do, on a personal level, to change to, or restore a previous belief system that coincides with faith in an omnipotent GOD and His Son, our Savior Jesus Christ. Your salvation depends on that personal reformation. “BELIEVE.”
Newsom is a sack of drek.
